Moubani Sorcar (real name Purbita Sorcar) is an Indian actresses and painter. She is daughter of magician P. C. Sorcar, Jr.
Moubani is the second daughter of Magician P.C.Sorcar junior.She has chosen film as her career, but her passion for dance and art, also magic makes her unique. She has maintained the role of the heroine in all her movies. She started her career with stage, modelling, television and finally films. This potentially strong actress has won The Best Actress , for her role in the movie Nodi Rey Tui,Best debutant for Bodla from the Uttam Kumar Awards, and has been nominated several times in various prestigious awards group( Anandalok Awards,etc.)
