Sherlyn’s complaint seeks aniticipatory bail
The war between director Rupesh Paul and his Kamasutra 3D actor Sherlyn Chopra never seems to end. Last month, the actress had taken to her microblogging account to hurl abuses against the director. Rupesh had, in turn, filed a defamation case against Sherlyn Chopra, following which the actress alleged that she was not paid `7 lakh, a part of her remuneration for the film.
The latest we hear is that Rupesh again filed a complaint against Sherlyn recently, besides seeking anticipatory bail, on the advice of his lawyer. When asked about this, all he had to say was: “It is just a legal procedure. I don’t have anything to say about this anymore as this matter is already under court consideration,” he said.
He also added that all the allegations by Sherlyn are wrong. “Previously, it was me who filed a case against her for badmouthing me on a social networking site, then suddenly one day she files a case against me with all false allegations. Sherlyn has been very happy and boasting about her character in the movie, always, and had been with us during all the promotions, full heartedly. I am totally perplexed as to why is she doing all this, and if it is Sherlyn or someone else behind it,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rupesh Paul is getting ready for the pre-production work of his next film, Na Mo, which is said to revolve around Narendra Modi.
